We are thrilled to report that the Calidore String Quartet, winner of the 2013 CMYS Competition for Emerging Professional Ensembles, was awarded the $100,000 M Prize by the University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theater & Dance on May19 2016. Intended to promote the careers of young professional chamber music ensembles our prize was an early recognition of the promise of Calidore. They are the latest of many successful winners in out competition. Bravi!
