A Concert Report by Joan Champie
The opening concert of the CMYS 2015-2016 season on September 27 was the Telegraph Quartet. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, this group has performed widely since forming in 2013, appearing in concert halls across the United States and in Europe. They made their Carnegie Hall debut earlier this season. Members of this Quartet are Joseph Maile and Eric Chin, violins; Pei-Ling Lin, viola; and Jeremiah Shaw, cello. In addition to performing as a group, all four are dedicated to teaching and presenting master classes.
